I got an assignment to read a greek myth and create characters and environments as if they were going to be used for an animation. The story I chose was that of Theseus and Ariadne (and the minotaur of course, which i'll post soon). Theseus has the more square designs and Ariadne has circular designs.

This was a painting i did for my dad, it is a portrait of my uncle Dariush, and my aunt Pary. They live in Switzerland but the city behind them in this piece is Toledo, Spain. The painting is entirely acrylic and about 2 and a half feet by 2 feet.

This was my attempt at re-envisioning a starcraft environment. The far right structure (nexus) and the far left structure (pylon) are pre-existing protoss buildings but the structure in the upper middle is my own. It's all acrylic paint.

I had an assignment to reinterpret a video game of my choice, so i picked starcraft. I was kind of going for a more graphic, cell-shaded kind of look, more cartoony i guess. The one in color is a protoss zealot and the charcoal drawing is a terrain marine. The colored piece was done with acrylic and sumi ink.

This is the sculpture I made from the sketches two posts back. The materials are hot glue, and fork tines, i have considered painting it, but i'm not really sure if i wanna do that
