This was a painting I did of how I envisioned the minotaur for the Theseus project. I ended up redoing the minotaur to be more stylized and more similar to Theseus, which was in a couple posts back, but I enjoyed doing this painting. It's a little collage for the cave, and I got the texture on the Minotaur body by painting over chunks of dried acrylic I pasted on. The rest of the piece is all acrylic. I was going for a kind of scary, subterranean-minotaur, like a naked mole-rat.
