This is an environment I did for the Theseus project. In the original myth, the entrance to the Labyrinth (where the minotaur lived) was described as more of a hole than a gate or door that the sacrificial greek boys and girls were thrown down. This is how I envisioned the entrance that you would get chucked in if you were chosen to face the bull/man. Acrylic and sumi ink as usual, with a little ball point pen.
